Peter Alexander

History

Since childhood, Peter has fostered his creativity through music and theater. Peter earned his Bachelor of Arts in music theory from the University of California at Santa Barbara. His music education includes more than 15 years of choral and small ensemble singing, 20 years of on stage performance in character roles and as a singer/songwriter and accompanist working from the piano, and more than a decade of work in the recording studio.  In private study he has worked with such distinguished instructors and colleagues as Michael Smolens, Craig Bohmler and Gerry Basserman.

Current Projects

Peter is currently working on the  “Peter Alexander Songbook, Volume 1,” a collection of his most popular songs, including:

  • Here with Me
  • I Bring You Me
  • Daydreams and Butterflies

and

  • Ain’t I A Woman

He is also actively recording his long anticipated CD release, “Don’t Look Down” and working on revisions for his musical, “In the Hands of the Raven.”
